A cell in an hearing aid supplies a current of 2.5mA through a resistance of 300Ohms. When the wearer turns up the volume the resistance is changed to 100Ohms and the current rises to 6mA. What is the emf and Internal resistance of the cell?

I = E / R+r I’=E / R’+r -1 I”= E /R”+R -2
I’/I” = R”+r / R’+R
2.5/6 = 100+r / 300+r
using this equation find r .then substitute in 1 or in 2 to get E

Not I. Just bought a ZON hearing aid. I doubt a disposable hearing aid is any good. It is what it is, cannot be adjusted to the individuals own needs.

see an audiologist, some hearing aids wont work certain forms of hearing loss. I was born with nerve damage in my ear and hear aids wont work for me.

No, you should be just fine. Just be sure to take a little more care than usual when you remove your eyeglasses.
Consider also that Starkey Laboratories have produced an open fit hearing aid that fits entirely in the ear. It’s quite an interesting concept. I’ve yet to fit one, but the specs look promising.

Have no idea what strength they are but they cost plenty and are about a year old. Is there a group who could use them? They could save someone major bucks as they are not covered under medicare. I could find out the specifics from the audiologist. Any ideas? They are Mia digital behind the ear.
