Audibel Hearing Aid Styles and Technology
Many people in recent years have found that they need hearing assistance. There is an aging population, especially in North American countries, and with age comes physiological changes in the human body which may sometimes include hearing loss. This hearing loss is much more easily corrected in the current times. Technology has progressed in the hearing aid field to make hearing aids look more aesthetically pleasing and, more importantly, to function better. Audibel hearing aids have become exceptional in the hearing aid industry. Audibel hearing aids offer advanced technology with many styles to meet each individual’s hearing aid need.
Available Styles in Audibel Hearing Aids
Audibel Hearing Aids come in four basic styles. The behind the ear or BTE style is one that most people are familiar with. This style rests behind the ear with a molded piece going into the ear canal allowing for the transmission of sound. The benefit of this type of device is that they will work for most any ear shape and size, and because the aid is a larger type they can offer a variety of circuit options and amplification. The next style offered in Audibel hearing aids is the in-the-ear (ITE) instrument. This style has a small piece which rests in the outer ear. The size and functioning of this hearing aid seems to very effective for people with limited dexterity.
The third style of Audibel Hearing Aid is the in-the-canal (ITC) instrument. These hearing aids are very similar to the ITE’s, except that they are smaller and actually sit inside of the ear canal. These devices are newer and more advanced, allowing for more circuit options even though they are small. The last style of Audibel hearing aid is the CIC, or completely-in-the-canal ear instruments. These units are the most desirable for most people, because they are not very visible when worn and they have very reduced feedback. The problem with this type is that they do not work with all ear shapes and sizes. They will be impossible for some people to wear but for those who can use them, they are a great choice.
Audibel Hearing Aid Technology Advances
As technology advances, Audibel hearing aids advance also. Audibel offers a complete line of digital and wireless hearing aids. The digital systems allow the person to have more individual usage of his hearing aid. A specialist can program the hearing aid to the specific person. Wireless hearing aids are at the forefront of technology, and offer better assistance for certain types of situations. If a person finds they are in need of a hearing aid, Audibel hearing aids will be able to provide whatever the need is. The first step is to see a hearing specialist for testing and consultation. The specialist will then be able to determine just what the individual needs are.
